How to Use

1. Remove the crankset from the bicycle according to the crank manufacturer’s instructions.
2. Place the RL221 tool onto the direct mount chainring lockring.
3. Make sure the internal teeth of the tool fully engage with the lockring.
4. Fit a 32mm open-end wrench or compatible TL-FC32 wrench onto the tool.
5. Turn in the correct direction to loosen or tighten the lockring.
6. When reinstalling, tighten the lockring according to the torque specification marked on the original lockring or recommended by the component manufacturer.
7. Check that the chainring and lockring are securely installed before riding.
