A simple check for your drivetrain

A worn chainring can make maintenance decisions harder when you only judge the teeth by eye. The TL-328 provides a repeatable visual reference for compatible 1x chainrings. Its shaped tip fits between adjacent teeth so you can compare the remaining clearance.

How to read the gauge

Clean the chainring and place the measuring tip into a compatible tooth gap without forcing it. A clear gap below the tip indicates less wear in the supplier demonstration. If the tip reaches the bottom or leaves very little clearance, inspect the chainring and chain for replacement. Repeat the check at several positions.

Fit and care

Use the gauge only where its profile matches the chainring. It measures tooth-profile wear and does not replace a chain elongation gauge. Wipe clean after use and store it where the measuring edge will not be bent.
