Note: This tool is mainly used for cassette flywheels. It is usually used together with a cassette lockring socket and an adjustable wrench.

How to Use

1. Wrap the chain whip around the cassette sprocket securely.
2. Insert a compatible cassette lockring socket into the cassette lockring.
3. Use an adjustable wrench with the socket.
4. Hold the cassette with the chain whip while turning the lockring tool counterclockwise to remove the cassette.
5. For best leverage, keep the angle between the chain whip and wrench at more than 120° when possible.
