How to read the size: In a size marked 27.2mm to 31.6mm, the 27.2mm inner diameter fits a 27.2mm seatpost, while the 31.6mm outer diameter fits a compatible 31.6mm frame seat tube.

How to Choose the Correct Size

Seatpost Diameter = Shim Inner Diameter: Check the size marking on your seatpost, or measure its outer diameter with a caliper.
Frame Seat Tube Diameter = Shim Outer Diameter: Check the bicycle frame specification or carefully measure the frame seat tube internal diameter.
Both dimensions must match exactly. Do not force an incorrectly sized shim or seatpost into the frame.

Installation Instructions

Open or loosen the bicycle's seatpost clamp completely.
Clean the inside of the frame seat tube, then insert the correct shim straight into the seat tube until the retaining lip sits flush at the top.
Insert the compatible seatpost through the shim and set the desired saddle height, observing the seatpost's minimum insertion mark.
Tighten the seatpost clamp to the bicycle manufacturer’s specified torque. Recheck clamp tightness and saddle position before riding.

Installation Notice: A slight variation in the opening of the longitudinal slot may be present on ultra-thin shim wall configurations. This is a normal result of the slotted construction. Always use appropriate assembly compound and torque guidance for your frame and seatpost materials; carbon components may require carbon assembly paste and a torque wrench.
