The Stone Direct Mount MTB Chainring is CNC-machined from high-strength 7075-T651 aerospace-grade aluminum alloy, supplied by Aleris USA, a professional aluminum supplier serving major aircraft manufacturers such as Airbus, Boeing, and Bombardier.

Designed for Shimano direct mount MTB cranksets, this round narrow-wide chainring provides excellent stiffness, durability, and chain retention. The optimized wolf-tooth narrow-wide profile helps prevent chain drop, improves mud-shedding performance, and reduces chain noise for a smoother riding experience.

With a 0mm offset design, this chainring helps improve frame clearance when using larger tooth sizes.

Important Notice for Shimano 12-Speed Chains

When using an original Shimano 12-speed chain, the original Shimano quick link must be replaced with a compatible quick link from another brand, such as KMC or YBN.

The original Shimano 12-speed quick link may be too narrow and can cause riding or shifting problems.

Chain quick link is not included and must be purchased separately.

Installation Notes

1. This chainring has only one correct installation angle. Please align it properly during installation.
2. The final chainline is determined by the crankset specification. Shimano adjusts chainline mainly through different spindle lengths.
3. Suitable OLD / rear hub spacing depends on the crank model, including 142 mm, 148 mm, and 157 mm. Please check Shimano’s official crank specifications before purchase.
4. The 0mm offset design can help reduce frame interference when using larger chainring sizes.
