Selle Royal Central Cutout Bicycle Saddle with Memory Foam or Royalgel Padding, Athletic, Commuter and Upright Riding Options in Multiple Sizes

Choose a padded saddle shape for your riding position

This Selle Royal bicycle saddle listing offers six black options across a standard memory-foam series and a Royalgel-padded series. Each has a central cutout, a contoured seating area and twin mounting rails, with different lengths, widths and approximate net weights. Choose the full series-and-style option name, then compare its dimensions with the riding position and saddle shape you prefer. One selected option supplies one saddle.

Standard memory-foam versions in three shapes

The standard Viento options shown here are the 1308U Athletic Unisex, 1403HE Moderate Men and 1502U Relaxed Unisex. The 1308U is approximately 270 x 160 mm, the 1403HE is approximately 280 x 180 mm and the 1502U is approximately 250 x 230 mm. Their source illustrations associate these styles with 45-degree, 60-degree and 90-degree riding positions respectively. These diagrams are selection guidance rather than a requirement to hold an exact back angle.

Royalgel versions for athletic, commuter and upright riding

The three Royalgel choices have a different cover texture, cutout profile and dimension set from the standard versions. The Athletic Unisex option measures approximately 272 x 155 mm, the Moderate Unisex approximately 272 x 175 mm and the Relaxed Unisex approximately 215 x 245 mm. The corresponding specification-panel codes are A075UR0, A076HR0 and A077UR0. Select by the listed dimensions and photographs because similarly named saddle generations can differ.

Memory foam and Royalgel padding are separate options

The standard-series detail panel identifies memory-foam padding, while the gel-series panel and actual saddle printing identify Royalgel. The photographs show the padded rear seating area, side profiles and a hand-pressure demonstration of the Royalgel version. A blue area in the gel cutaway is an explanatory illustration, not a blue saddle-cover color. All six offered saddles have black covers. The source does not specify an isolated gel-layer thickness.

Open central cutout and shaped rear support

A longitudinal central opening runs through each shown saddle, with a channel extending along the top surface. The individual option photographs show how the opening length and rear seating outline change between styles. A broader relaxed shape and a narrower athletic shape provide different seating profiles; saddle comfort and fit depend on the rider and setup, so use the dimensions and views to compare these actual options rather than assuming every shape fits the same way.

Version-specific rails and rear supports

The standard-series source specification identifies manganese-alloy rails, while the Royalgel-series panel identifies chromoly steel rails. Close-ups show the twin-rail arrangement and adjustment reference marks. The standard Moderate and Relaxed rear-view illustrations show elastomer supports; the standard Athletic version is specifically identified as not having those rear supports. These support details should not be assumed identical across all six options.

PU covers, underside details and accessory clip

The source identifies PU covers and shows close-ups of the standard surface texture and the smoother Royalgel-series cover. Underside photographs show the base, rail attachments and the central cutout from below. The illustrated rear accessory clip is intended for a suitable clip-on light or saddle bag. Such accessories are sold separately, and the supplied pictures do not establish compatibility with every light or bag attachment.

Check the saddle and seatpost clamp before fitting

The two rails attach to a compatible seatpost saddle clamp. Compare your clamp with the actual rail arrangement and follow the saddle and seatpost fitting instructions, including their adjustment marks and tightening requirements. The provided information does not specify a universal rail diameter, clamp compatibility list or tightening torque. The seatposts, bicycles, rear light and other display props shown in the photos are not included.

Compare dimensions and approximate net weights

The comparison table below lists each available shape separately. Standard reference net weights are approximately 368.8 g, 486.9 g and 561 g; Royalgel reference weights are approximately 410 g, 450 g and 551 g. These are product net weights rather than packaged or shipping weights. Dimensions and weights are approximate and may vary slightly by batch.
