Suspension for rough gravel

Rudy adds short-travel suspension to a compatible gravel bike, helping the front wheel follow uneven ground. All four options in this listing have 40mm travel; this is not the longer-travel Rudy XL.

Choose your damper

Rudy XPLR Base uses a Solo Air spring with a rebound-only cartridge damper. Rudy Ultimate XPLR A1 combines Solo Air with the Charger Race Day damper and crown-operated lockout. Both versions let you adjust air pressure and rebound.

Fit and installation

For suspension-compatible 700C gravel frames, a 12x100mm thru-axle front hub and a road flat-mount brake. The 28.6mm upper steerer is 1-1/8 inch; the 31.8mm version is 1-1/4 inch. Both taper to a 1.5-inch lower steerer. Check headset, crown race, stem, available steerer length and the frame manufacturer's permitted fork length and travel before ordering.

Weights and dimensions in the images are supplier measurements and may vary. The 31.8mm version is illustrated with a 370mm steerer; verify the required cut length before installation.
