The MEROCA BSA threaded bottom bracket fits 68mm and 73mm English-threaded frame shells with compatible 24/24mm crank spindles. Sealed steel bearings, a 6061 aluminum body and an aluminum center sleeve provide a supported bearing assembly for mountain bike and road applications. Three spacer thicknesses are included for the required installation setup.

Requires a BSA English-threaded frame shell and a compatible crank spindle measuring 24mm at both bearing interfaces. for Shimano, IXF and for Prowheel compatibility applies to their matching 24/24mm cranksets. Check spindle length, shell width and spacer requirements for the exact crank model.

Not compatible with SRAM GXP 24/22mm spindles, for SRAM DUB spindles, 30mm spindles or press-fit frames, including BB30, PF30, BB86 and BB92. A threaded frame using another thread standard is not compatible.

Installation Notes

Select the spacer arrangement required by the frame and crankset. The included 1mm, 2mm and 3mm spacers provide adjustment options; do not assume that all three must be installed. Follow the crankset installation requirements and confirm free rotation and correct bearing preload after assembly.
