Choosing a slot

Measure spoke thickness at the flat section where the tool will grip it. Use the slot that fits the spoke closely without forcing it. The two slots cover different thicknesses, and the long 78 mm contact area lets the tool engage along the blade.

Wheel building and truing

Hold the flat spoke steady while turning the nipple with a separate nipple wrench. This helps you see whether the nipple is turning independently of the spoke. Select black or titanium color. Both options are aluminum alloy.

Technical specifications

The two slots suit 0.8 to 1.0 mm and 1.0 to 1.3 mm thick spokes. Slot length is approximately 78 mm.

The aluminum alloy tool is available in black and titanium color.
