Holds the chain in place for cleaning and drivetrain maintenance after the rear wheel has been removed.

How the chain holder fits

The spring-loaded body compresses to fit between the rear dropouts, where the pulley gives the chain a path in place of the removed cassette. Match the frame’s dropout spacing and the end shapes shown in the photos before fitting.

Cleaning the drivetrain

Route the chain over the pulley and turn the cranks by hand to move the chain through the cleaning area. The kit includes a brake pad spacer for the compatible caliper while the rotor is out. The spacer is separate from the chain keeper.

Technical specifications

For rear thru-axle frames with 142 to 148 mm dropout spacing. The spring-loaded body compresses for fitting.

Features an aluminum alloy body, a POM pulley assembly and a polymer end plug.

Includes one chain keeper and one brake pad spacer. The chain keeper measures approximately 160 × 37 mm.
