A sliding cross-probe establishes a reference point on one brake hood. Swing the arm across the cockpit to check the corresponding point on the opposite hood. Comparing the same point on each side helps separate a lever-height difference from differences in hood shape.
This is the standard lever alignment gauge with a pivot and movable probe, offered in orange and black. Use it during bar swaps, lever installation or cockpit adjustments. Check the mounting arrangement shown in the workshop photos against your stem and steerer setup.
The tool uses a movable measuring probe and a pivoting arm. Set the probe on one side and rotate it to compare the other side.
Approximate tool dimensions are 395 × 155 mm. Available in orange or black.
