Install compatible headset cups and selected press-fit bottom brackets with this threaded bicycle workshop press.

Select a supported cup and adapter

The stepped adapter should contact the correct surface of the cup and seat squarely against it. Compare the adapter diameters and cup shape shown in the detail photos to the headset or press-fit bottom bracket you are servicing.

How the press is arranged

The threaded rod draws the adapters together. A knurled handle gives a gripping surface for turning the assembly, and the thrust bearings sit in the pressing assembly. Use the component maker’s specified supports and pressing procedure. The set is available in red, blue, black and silver.
