Eggbeater-Compatible Cleat Kit

Compatibility and Fit

This is a replacement cleat kit for Eggbeater-type pedals. The source images show engagement with Crankbrothers Candy pedals. The photographed product is a two-bolt cleat; it is not a three-bolt SHIMANO SPD-SL road cleat. Confirm your pedal system and shoe mounting pattern before ordering. Shoes and pedals in installation photographs are examples and are not included.

Left and Right Orientation

The cleats are left/right specific. Check the markings and use the correct cleat on each shoe. The supplier states that there is no front/rear distinction for these cleats.

Installation

Place the nylon shim with its raised anti-slip side toward the shoe sole. Position the cleat over the shim, align the mounting holes, and fit the steel plate and screws. Adjust the cleat position before tightening with a 3 mm hex key. Tighten securely without overtightening. Check attachment and pedal engagement before riding.
