The DNM AO-38RC is a lightweight air-sprung rear shock for full-suspension mountain bike frames. Its pneumatic air spring combines with adjustable rebound and compression damping plus a lockout, so you can tune the ride to your weight and the terrain. Choose the manual lockout version (AO-38RC) or the handlebar remote lockout version (AO-38RL). Ideal for XC and trail riding on rough trails.

Key Features

Air (pneumatic) spring – lightweight with soft/firm adjustment via air pressure; use a shock pump with a gauge.
Rebound adjustment (red knob) – tune return speed from slow to fast.
Compression adjuster (blue knob) – opens/closes compression; rotate to lock out for climbing or smooth sections, rotate back to open.
Lockout function – manual lever (AO-38RC) or handlebar remote control (AO-38RL).
High-pressure capable – max air pressure up to ~275 psi.
Mounting kit included – pair of bushings (24mm mount width, Ø8mm bore).

Notes & Cautions

Inflate with a shock pump with pressure gauge (recommended).
Set main / auxiliary chamber pressure according to your rider weight (see chart below); do not exceed max pressure (~275 psi).
Rebound: rotate right = slower (more damping), left = faster (less damping).
Compression: (+ ) direction = lock out, (− ) direction = open.
Remote version: thread the cable through the mounting hole and tighten with a 1.5mm hex wrench.
Before riding, make sure the lockout is set as intended for the terrain.
Do not disassemble the shock — it is internally pressurized.
Weights are approximate and may vary slightly.
