Continental Race King Folding Mountain Bike Tire with Knobby Cross-Country Tread, 26, 27.5 and 29 Inch Options with Bulk or Retail Hangtag Packaging

Race King tread for cross-country mountain bikes

The Continental Race King features a closely arranged center tread with shaped shoulder knobs, as shown in the product close-ups and the opening demonstration video. This listing offers seven folding-bead options across selected 26, 27.5 and 29 inch sizes, with 2.0 or 2.2 inch widths depending on the option. Each selected option supplies one tire. Photographs showing several tires or package formats illustrate the range rather than a multi-tire bundle.

Choose wheel diameter, width and package presentation

Every option in this listing is a folding tire. Available yellow-logo hangtag choices are 26 x 2.0, 26 x 2.2, 27.5 x 2.0 and 27.5 x 2.2. The white-lettering bulk choices are 27.5 x 2.0, 27.5 x 2.2 and 29 x 2.0. The flexible bead allows the tire to be folded into the compact form shown in the package photographs. Compare the complete option name because size, logo presentation, packaging and approximate net weight vary.

Yellow-logo folding tires with retail hangtags

Four folding options are supplied with the shown Continental retail hangtag: 26 x 2.0, 26 x 2.2, 27.5 x 2.0 and 27.5 x 2.2. The actual package photographs identify Race King ShieldWall and display PureGrip and Tubeless Ready markings. The selected size is printed on the product packaging. The yellow-logo wording identifies the Continental sidewall-logo presentation, while the large Race King model lettering remains visible on the tire.

White-lettering folding tires in bulk presentation

The white-lettering folding choices are 27.5 x 2.0, 27.5 x 2.2 and 29 x 2.0. They are supplied without the retail hangtag shown with the corresponding Hangtag options. The close-up photographs show the folded tires and their printed sidewall details. Bulk and Hangtag describe the supplier packaging choices; they do not mean that an order contains more than one tire. Check the complete option name when comparing these choices.

PureGrip and ShieldWall folding construction

Continental describes PureGrip as a compound used in its Performance tire range and ShieldWall as a construction with an additional woven protective layer. The folding-product labels and sidewall close-ups supplied for this listing identify those technologies. The photograph of the retail label below shows the marked ShieldWall folding product, while the close-ups illustrate the tread and sidewall surfaces.

Tread, sidewall and rotation details

The detail photographs show the center knobs, shoulder layout, sidewall surface texture, Race King lettering and the molded direction-of-rotation arrow. Use the arrow on the actual tire when orienting it during installation. Color labels in the option names refer to logo or lettering presentation; all listed tire bodies and treads are black. Rims, wheels, brake rotors and tools shown in installation or display photographs are not included.

Fit and inflation checks before installation

Match the tire to the wheel diameter, rim dimensions and available frame or fork clearance. Nominal inch sizes do not establish compatibility with every wheel or bicycle. Follow the actual tire-sidewall, package and rim pressure limits, using the lowest applicable maximum rather than a single pressure value for every size. Tubeless use requires the actual tire to carry the appropriate marking together with compatible rims, tape, valves and sealant.

Approximate net weights vary by selected option

The individual folding tire net weights are listed in the comparison table below and range from approximately 625 g to 695 g. These figures describe the tires and are not shipping weights. Compare each size and packaging choice using its own row; production batches may also vary. The compact folded package photographs show the two available presentation formats.

Package contents and product presentation

One selected option supplies one Continental Race King tire in the specified size, bead type, logo presentation and packaging format. The Hangtag choices include the shown retail card; Bulk choices do not include that card. The gallery and detail pictures retain the actual Race King tread and package views. The video shows the Race King sidewall and tread; no unrelated tire model is included in the edited demonstration.
